The Technical and Technological Laboratory offers:

• its services in the scope of the testing of the raw wood materials , adhesives and another raw materials used in the production of the wood based panels,
• the technological services connected with the intervention activity influence effect in the scope of particular specific needs of the branch mills ,
• works in the scope of energy measurements in the production process of the wood based panels manufacture ,
• elaboration and implementation of the production engineering for the fibreboard made by wet method without industrial waste waters ,
• elaboration and implementation of the energy sparing production engineering for the manufacture of the fibre mass (pulp),
• manufacture, supply and repair service of the energy sparing and very stable outlet valves for continuous discharging fibre mass from refiners (defibrillators),
• modernisation of the stuffing boxes of the refiner main shafts with the object of achieving the reduction to a minimum the volume of the seal water and the increase of the working life of the stuffing box ,
• assembly of the system of automatic control for the working load of the refiner main engine ,
• assembly of the apparatus that enables the protection of the milling segments of the refiner against the destructive wear ,what ensures also stabilisation of the milling gap,
• complex modernity of the RT-70 refiners leading to achieving twice capacity of the hitherto existing refiners with considerable reduction of the consumption of the thermal and electric energy ,
• elaboration's relating the reduction of technologic costs of the manufacture of fibreboard's, chipboards , plywood and other wood based composites ,
• performing of the works connected with the obtainment of technical approvals for the products made with the use of the wood based panels.

Laboratory for the control of the industrial harmfulness:

• realisation of the measurements on the working posts in the scope:
  • noise intensity and equivalent level,
  • level of the acoustic pressure with the object of achieving choice of the individual hearing protectors,
  • parameters of the local and general vibrations,
  • dustiness,
  • concentrations of the toxic substances,
  • intensities of the lighting,
  • effectiveness of the ventilating systems.
• the services in the scope of the improvement of the working conditions:
  • designing , realisation and assembly of the sound-absorbing cabins and housings with the defining their effects,
  • designing and realisation of the modernisation of the ventilating systems with the assembly of these systems,
  • specialist measurement of noise for the designing of the solutions ,that reduce the noise intensity,
  • measurement of the specialist outputs of the ventilating systems and the control of these systems,
• measurement in the scope of the protection of the atmospheric air:
  • measurement of the emission of the toxic substances and dusts,
  • grain coarseness analysis of the dusts,
  • noise measurement in site,
  • elaboration of the operators of the atmospheric air protection,
  • elaboration of the antinoise protection zones,
  • designing of the systems for the solvent recovery with the realization of the system elements, assembly and the process engineering start-up.

The accredited Laboratory for the Product Testing offers its services in the scope:

• testing the physical properties of the wood based materials,
• testing the mechanical properties of the wood based materials,
• determination of the formaldehyde emission from the wood based materials, from the furniture and from the furniture elements by means of the chamber process,
• determination of the asphalt content in the soft boards,
• determination of the formaldehyde emissions by means of the gas analysis

The Design Engineering Laboratory and Prototype Production Plant with the workshop back-up facilities offer:

• apparatus for the determination of the bending strength, tensile strength and modulus of elasticity (MOE),
• I-beams with webs made from OSB-boards,
• houses made from wood and wood-based materials,
• house elements made from wood and wood-based materials as well the complement of supplies in the scope of wood building,
• services in the scope of designing and technical consulting relating the frame building industry,
• industrial sound absorbing cabins,
• the grinding stations for the high concentrated pulps(fiber masses) for the fiberboard industry,
• test chambers for the determination of the formaldehyd emissions according PN EN 717-2,
• services in the scope of the mechanical working of the metals,
• services in the scope of welding of the stainless steel, the acid resistant steel and aluminium,

The Scientific and Technical Information Center offers the services in the scope:

• applying of the inventions and utility patterns to the Polish Patent Office,
• retrieval of the scientific and technical information,
• collection and processing of the scientific and technical information into the information useful for the necessities defined by the customers,
• performing of the analises of the evolutions of the trends in the production and consumption of the particular sorts of the wood based panels in Poland and Europe,
• elaboration of the prognoses of the evolution of the market demand for the wood based panels and the production volumes of particular kinds of panels and connected with it the demand for the wood raw materials and the auxiliary materials,
• translation of the information documents writer out in English, German, Russian and French into Polish,
• collection of the patent information, carrying on the information retrievals and patent examinations.
